Our consultation begins with a non-binding conversation – online, via WhatsApp, or in our showroom at Untere Bachgasse 6. You can simply message us or send photos of your desired ring. There, we discuss ideas, budget, and style, create 3D designs if desired, and keep you updated with photos or videos throughout every step of the production process.
After the initial consultation, we sketch your desired design, visualize it as a 3D model, and coordinate details such as precious metal or stone shape together with you. Once you are satisfied, we commission the custom piece in our European workshops. Production usually takes about 2 weeks in gold and about 4 weeks in platinum. An express production option is often available for gold upon request.
14K gold is more durable and resistant for everyday wear, while 18K gold offers a warmer color tone and more luxurious shine due to the higher fine gold content. We are happy to advise you on which option best fits your lifestyle, skin undertone, and budget.
Center stones between 0.50 ct and 1.00 ct are popular, as they offer a balanced ratio between presence and price. The final size depends on hand size, desired ring shape, and budget – we show you different diamonds live so you can get a feel for the proportions.
Both are chemically and visually identical; differences can only be detected in a laboratory under a microscope. Lab-grown diamonds are about 30–50% less expensive and guaranteed conflict-free, while natural diamonds have the appeal of geological uniqueness. Regardless of whether lab-grown or natural: all diamonds at Gemsperience are certified by renowned independent institutes such as GIA or IGI.
At Gemsperience, custom engagement rings start at around €1,800. Most designs range between €2,500 and €5,000, depending on diamond size, precious metal (14K, 18K gold or 950 platinum), and design complexity.
We send you a ring sizer free of charge or discreetly measure your partner’s current favorite ring size in our showroom. If the ring does not fit perfectly later, we adjust the size once free of charge.
The production of a custom engagement ring usually takes about 2 weeks in gold and about 4 weeks in platinum. Upon request, express production in 14K or 18K gold is often possible within 5–7 working days. Just contact us if timing is particularly urgent – we usually find a suitable solution.
Yes, we can refresh old jewelry pieces, reset stones, or adjust the ring band. Upon request, we can also use your old gold to create a new piece of jewelry. This way, the symbolic value is preserved while a new individual design is created through recycling.
We use recycled 14K and 18K gold as well as certified, conflict-free natural or lab-grown diamonds. This allows you to combine timeless design with a clear conscience.
Both options receive certificates from renowned institutes such as GIA or IGI, documenting the 4 Cs. Natural diamonds tend to retain their resale value slightly better, while lab-grown diamonds offer the advantage of a lower entry price.
We combine the creative freedom of a goldsmith with the wide diamond selection of a jeweler, work with recycled gold and certified stones, and are also available in the evenings or on weekends. This way, you receive a transparent, fair all-around experience for truly unique jewelry.
